DON'T TAP THE GLASS

by Tyler, The Creator

Tyler, Tyler, Tyler...what can I even say. Time and time again Tyler has proven that he's at the front of the pack and doesn't plan on letting up anytime soon. DON'T TAP THE GLASS is Tyler's 9th studio album, and brings everything you'd expect from him, with a fresh new twist. With new sounds clearly made to get you up and moving, to those we're more familiar with and almost reminiscent of those found on Cherry Bomb, but revamped with a fresh coat of paint, Tyler proves to us once again that he is perhaps the most versatile artist of my generation and clearly has a deep knowledge of his fans' own taste. Similar to nods found in the cover art that express Tyler's love for the music he grew up on, Tyler sprinkles similar details throughout the album through features from Busta Rhymes, Pharrell, and samples/interpolations. One of my favorites that can be found is on "Ring Ring Ring", where he seems to have taking inspiration from or sampled Cherrelle's "Saturday Love". All in all this album is a great listen, super fun and super sexy! Go give it a listen if you haven't already, and be ready to move that body!
